Educational lecture course on finance created by current Imperial Business School PhD students with industry experience. Course starts 10 October 6-7:30pm @ Clore Lecture Theatre in Huxley Building.

Securities Education Certificate
SEC provides you with insight into many of the basic and technical aspects of markets and securities. First lecture Monday 14 October @ Clore Lecture Theatre in Huxley building.

CV and Cover letter Clinic
The Finance Committee runs a weekly CV and Cover letter drop-in Clinic after receiving training from the Imperial Careers Service. Drop by if you wish to receive some useful advice.
Get assigned a mentor or become one to help yourself or others make successful job applications in the financial sector through guidance and advice. The Society is very diverse and members range from inexperienced to interns to alumni.

The Society maintains close ties with industry, with many banks, hedge funds, and fintech companies creating on-campus events for our members including company presentations, networking events, panel discussions, and more.

Annual International Trip & Socials
The Society runs a heavily-subsidized annual trip with past destinations including Hong Kong, New York, Barcelona, and San Francisco.
London Fintech Conference
This is an annual conference created together with LSE, UCL, and KCL student societies hosting a range of high profile speakers from the fintech industry along with networking sessions. Expected to take place March 2020.
The UK Investment Banking Series is a widely recognised team-based competition which consists of two parts: M&A and Trading.
M&A part consists of teams presenting their M&A pitch booklets to a panel of judges.
The trading competition is run in partnership with Amplify Trading and the winning team is determined based on their performance in an algorithmic trading challenge.
